Hi, I’m Louise!

I am a certified Systemic Listening Therapist, trained in Compassionate Inquiry, and the founder of Sonum. I’ve built my practice around unconditional acceptance, non-judgement, and deep respect for where each person might be on their journey. Whether you are here for yourself or your child, my work will be a collaboration with you to give you the tools you need to be fully resourced and able to respond well to life’s challenges long after your sessions with me are done.

My journey to helping others has been a lifetime, but it truly ignited when I worked as a medical interpreter at a children’s hospital in the US. Supporting people in some of their most challenging moments through language was empowering and humbling, teaching me daily gratitude. That experience led me to pursue a master’s in Speech Therapy in the U.S., which allowed me to help children with speech difficulties and language learning delays.

I soon found myself drawn to the Auris Integralis Listening Therapy program in Germany. The contrast between the rigid academic approach and the intuitive, healing nature of listening therapy made it clear—this was my path.

After living and working in two different continents, getting fluent in 6 languages (two of which are my parents’ native languages!) I moved to a third continent when I moved to Bangalore in 2018. For the past seven years at Sonum, I’ve witnessed undeniable transformations in my clients, reaffirming that I can’t imagine doing anything else. This work challenges me, keeps me growing—personally, as a business owner, and as a therapist. It’s what keeps me feeling alive.

Music is the heartbeat of my family. My parents were both professional opera singers who brought joy to so many, including themselves. Now, using music and my voice in a different but equally meaningful way, I feel connected to them every day.
