Break free from unconscious patterns and reconnect with your authentic self.

Compassionate Inquiry, developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, is a gentle yet powerful approach that helps you uncover the hidden beliefs and emotions shaping your life, to cultivate self-awareness and move forward with clarity.

Everything you need to know about Compassionate Inquiry (CI):

  • Compassionate Inquiry is a therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that invites you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences with kindness and curiosity rather than judgment. This process helps uncover hidden beliefs and patterns, allowing you to see how they have shaped your life. By fully acknowledging and understanding these beliefs—without resistance or shame—you can begin to integrate them, moving toward a more complete and authentic version of yourself. A key aspect of Compassionate Inquiry is creating a safe, supportive space where honesty and self-reflection can flourish— which is where I come in.

  • Think of Compassionate Inquiry as the vehicle that helps you understand your hidden beliefs, defenses, and coping mechanisms. In our sessions I will guide you through feeling and experiencing how those beliefs have played out in your life so far. Instead of focusing solely on symptoms, our session will delve into the root causes of suffering. We will sit together and talk, and honor anything that comes up. The session will be in a question answer format which will help you gain deep self-awareness and emotional freedom. Once your life has been thoroughly felt and understood, you can begin to integrate those parts into a more complete and whole version of yourself.
